Story Pole

The story pole was erected on June 30, 1956 and is one of the largest Totem Poles in the world. It is a sense of pride for us that we are here to experience such history. The pole was carved by aboriginal tribesmen led by Mungo Martin. This majestic totem pole stands beautifully over the Strait of Juan de Fuca, a glorious sight to behold. With the vast lands that surround this totem pole, you will not only be able to breathe in this rich history but surround yourself with surreal landscapes.
